Sanjeev Sir's singing journey began under the guidance of his sister, gold medalist Dr. Anjana Chatterjee (Ghosh), a renowned classical singer and doctorate in music from Delhi University. He further refined his singing skills under the guidance of Padmashri Ustaad Hafiz Ahmed Khan, a master of Indian classical music. He is a specialist in light classical music and Ghazal singing. He is also a professional Keyboard player  and  an excellent trainer.  He is one of the finest trainers in India for Playback Singing having worked under legendary music directors like R. D. Burman, Lakshmikant Pyarelaal and Jatin Lalit and also under the YRF banner with Yash Chopra. He has been in this training profession for the last 20 years

having taught renowned Bollywood singers and professionals like Shaan, Ankita Sachdev, Seerat Kapoor, Kanika Laal and more as well as upcoming Bollywood singers.
